Royal Lace
was produced by the Hazel-Atlas Glass Company during 1934 as a set of 28
pieces. Today, Royal Lace holds is the costliest Depression glass covet by
collectors. Hazel-Atlas manufactured Royal Lace in the colors crystal, green,
yellow, pink, blue, and burgundy. The
most desirable color consistently proves to be the Ritz Blue, which actually
came about as an economic accident.
Hazel-Atlas
merged the blue glass with the other Royal Lace molds, in 1936, which generated
a great success.
Currently, Royal Lace is the most expensive and most sought depression glass.
